Long before Ally and Hudson, Dan and I had an espresso stand. For 4 years I met all kinds of people. People who stopped by every morning, every afternoon, every weekend, and some who stopped twice or even three times a day. My customers became my friends. They were there when Dan and I got engaged, as we planned our wedding, bought our first home, and even when I was sicker than sick with our first baby. They were the best. Some of them were people I wouldn't have chosen for friends, but after years of serving them coffee, I couldn't imagine my mornings without them stopping by.
Of course out of all the customers, we had our favorites. The customers that put a smile on our face when we saw their car pulling up. One of my favorites was Connie, a total PTA mom who rocked a blue mini van, whose entire life revolved around her two little kids. I loved her! Well those two little blonde kids have grown up, so much that one is now graduating from High School this year. Crazy.
So how fun to meet up with Connie and Casey to shoot his senior photos. He's such a fun kid, totally easy going, super sweet to his mom, and even Ally, who played my assistant for the day. I'll have to download the photos off her camera and see if Casey wants to use any of those for the yearbook....
It was great to catch up with you Connie! Can't believe you have a Senior!

Kylee
Last week I met up with soon-to-be senior Kylee. We had so much fun walking the streets of Snohomish taking photos. Typically I take a couple hundred photos during a session but somehow I racked up over 500 shots in our hour together. I tried to go home and delete some to cut down my editing time but soon realized that she's so stinkin photogenic that I think I deleted three....where she blinked.
I had a hard time deciding which photos to post Kylee, so you're going to have your work cut out for you choosing the one for your yearbook!!!

Class of 2010
After a week of nothing but rain, I was pleasantly suprised when I woke up Saturday morning. I had a maternity shoot and a senior shoot and I was really hoping for a dry day. It was perfect. Gray clouds, my favorite for pictures. We had a few raindrops here and there but I was able to get what I needed before the Sunday downpour.
Cali and I battled the Halloween street fair crowd out in Snohomish. Every time I go there I remember how much I love it. The cute little shops, the ice cream store, the pizza place, and of course all the old buildings and doorways I love to take pictures by.
Cali is graduating from Marysville this spring. She's a star athlete, outstanding student, totally gorgeous, and the icing on the cake, she loves Jesus. Could she BE any more perfect? (Her parents are pretty amazing people.)
I took way too many pictures as usual leaving it hard to choose what to put on the blog. She's so photogenic, I think there was maybe ONE photo where she blinked. So there are a lot. But how cute is this senior girl??
